The Venetian Ball I | Original Painting

The Venetian Ball I explores the tension between beauty and decay, illusion and truth. The Venetian masks symbolize societal facades, while falling bills and confetti expose the emptiness of a system prioritizing spectacle and money over genuine connection. The piece invites viewers to consider what lies beneath the masks they wear in a world that values appearance over authenticity.

For the Record is a satirical reflection on the current political climate. Through masked carnivals, falling money and a small commander who insists on being adored, the series exposes the performance of power, the choreography of deception, and the blurred line between image and truth. These works are a record of what we chose to see, and what we chose to ignore.
