Sahara | Original Painting

After leaving Capri, he traveled on by train. As it crossed the border into Spain, he felt the air change: warmer, infused with the distant breath of the Sahara. The wind carried fine grains of sand, whispering secrets of lands beyond. Inspired, he pulled out his sketchbook, the colors of the desert dancing in his mind.

Glimmers of Character follows a journey from the cliffs of Capri, across the border into Spain, to the golden light of Malaga. Each piece captures a place, a season or a feeling, distilled into color, plaster and texture. Together they tell the story of a traveler who set out to see the world and found himself along the way.
